A 40 year old game designer, data-analyst and scripter situated in Malmö, Sweden.
After ten years working in the peripherals of the gaming industry I decided in 2016 to become a game creator myself.
As a Game designer I put the player first and focus on crafting the best possible experience – using data, tools and years of games analysis to work. I build fast and test often.
Working as a UX/UI designer before my career in gaming has given me years of experience on communicating with the user, showing true affordances, removing false and hidden ones (when unwanted of course) – and making the act of using an object be pleasurable in itself.
As a Game Designer I have been working on many different parts of the trade. I have been the owner of features (some of which are considered “gold standard” IE it can make a bullet point on the back of the box). I have worked with character, camera and controls, making and tweaking tools and weapons, main content, side content, narrative content (details under NDA…), RPG elements, progression, skill roll-out, etc.
Some of my most rewarding work however is with the games diversity effort Diversi, where I was chair person of the board and involved in operations.
